Order processing

The speed and quality of the information provided by the order processing system have a direct impact not only on efficiency of logistics process, but on the cost too. VT uses Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) to communicate with the customers. This system allows to  exchange such data as  order size, customer names, location of customers, items demanded by customer etc. in real time, which greatly  increases order fullfilment time.

Labeling

This is marking according retail regulations, goods barcoding, labeling, instructions adding, etc.

Sorting

This is products sorting and consolidation to one consignment according to customer, delivery location, region, etc. Also articles or goods can be sorted in a sequence adapted to the customer‘s demand, it mainly applies to manufacturers.

Packaging

Special attention is given to packaging and packing material. Properly selected packing not only prevents goods from internal,external demages, pilferage, but also reduces transportation and warehousing costs, e.g. light packing material, proper package size allows efficiently utilize the area in a warehouse or vehicle.
