Modern warehouse management system
Modern warehouse management system (WMS) allows the client to control the balance of the goods at warehouse in real time. VILNIAUS TRANZITAS has implemented the online data exchange system, which facilitate exchange of information with the client. Orders are received and implemented and information about the state of order is presented through use of WMS system.
According to the information received from the client, through WMS system it is possible to define tasks. Implementation of these tasks can be reviewed by the client in real time. WMS system ensures the consistent control of the batch, serial numbers, dates of expiry and stocks of the client’s goods. Sorting of the goods is performed both when the goods are received and when the orders are prepared for sending out. Goods are sorted according to the clients and the place of destination and prepared for transportation to the final receiver.
